Eat Drink Travel While Black is a Black-owned travel media brand helping travelers explore Disney, all-inclusive resorts and the Caribbean through honest reviews, practical planning advice, food and drink coverage, and culturally aware storytelling.
WHY EDTWB EXISTS
EDTWB grew from Erica and Karey's desire to document the places they stayed, the meals they shared and the experiences they explored—while answering the questions that glossy travel coverage often leaves out.
How was the service? Was the room worth the money? What should families know before arriving? Did the food live up to the presentation? And, just as importantly, how were Black travelers welcomed, celebrated and served?
We created EDTWB to showcase the power of the Black dollar across tourism, hospitality, restaurants, resorts and global experiences. Our work helps travelers decide where to stay, what to eat, what to skip and whether an experience is truly worth their time and money.
WHO WE ARE
Erica leads EDTWB's travel, food and hospitality storytelling. Drawing on her hospitality and event-management background, she pays attention to the details behind an experience: service, atmosphere, value, cultural visibility and whether guests feel genuinely welcomed.
Karey is an HBCU graduate of Morris Brown College and a creative partner across EDTWB. He brings his perspective to the brand's honest reviews, premium visual storytelling and Vacation Cousins Radio—the music arm that extends the feeling of travel beyond the trip.
